Menu Plan Monday ~ Week of 9/28 through 10/04

Last week's plan turned into a jumbled mess. Most of what I planned for the week was prepared, but not on the appropriate days. We skipped French toast and sausage since we used up the bread to make sandwiches throughout the week. But we had plenty of leftovers to make up for it. Which is better, since nothing was wasted. Also, we skipped the turkey dinner on Sunday. It was a long week and niether of us was really into preparing or cleaning up after a big meal. So, that will carry over to this week.

Monday: Chicken in gravy, served over egg noodles, peas, biscuits

Tuesday: Pepper Steak *, rice, corn

Wednesday: Eggs, sausage patties, fried potatoes, toast

Thursday: Crock Pot Ravioli, garlic bread sticks

Friday: No Cooking Night (leftovers)

Saturday: Apple-wood smoked Turkey tenderloin, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, biscuits

Sunday: Chili *, rice, Texas Toast

*Check back next week, I'm hoping to add recipe links for the chili and pepper steak. I don't usually measure when I prepare either of these dishes. I'll try to make it a point to measure so that I can share these recipes here and on my other blog.

  2. Zonnah, I like breakfast for dinner too! Especially, when I have too much bread to try to use up before it turns.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
