Fall is also the best time of year for some good eats! While I love summer grilling, it's really no match for soups and stews and all of those tasty fall flavored baked goods and treats!
Today, I want to dedicate my Blog Love post to celebrate everything fall! And to start off, I am showing off the most recent picture I snapped of Grace while we were at the pumpkin patch.
I already shared this with you this week, but hey, I'm a proud momma and it goes along with the theme!

Fall just isn't Fall without a big bag of Candy Corn! I love the stuff and look forward to munching on a bag of the stuff once it feels like fall! Yeah, I know that it's available in other colors for other times of the year, but it's just not the same. (Yes, I only eat jelly beans in the spring, too!) Anyway, if you look forward to candy corn like me, you will want to check out this yummy fall snack over that was shared by Dee over at September the March!
And speaking of Candy Corn, Liz from Hoosier Homemade made some homemade candy corn! How fun! Of course, she pairs it with some adorable candy corn cupcakes!
I love the timing of this post! I just received it in my in-box as I'm typing this post!
If you love Honey Crisp apples the way I do, click on over to Butter Yum to see Patricia's recipe for this Honey Crisp and Vanilla Crumble. Mmmmmmmm! I think I'll be trying this recipe very soon! I'm sure my photo won't turn out as great as Patricia's did!
From Glitter to Gumdrops is one of my favorite blogs to read! Christy shares some really great projects that can be fun for both kids and adults. The next time I plan a girls' weekend with my nieces, I plan on trying out a few of Christy's craft ideas! Until then, find out how she turned a Vanilla Slimfast into a ghostly Halloween Treat! Be sure to read some of her other posts from this week, she posted a bunch of ghost projects just in time for Halloween!
This week, Lisa from Extraordinary Life showed us how to turn a box of Betty Crocker Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix into a variety of different desserts. Two of those recipes are perfect for this week's fall theme:
and
In addition to those fall favorites, Lisa also shares recipes for a lemon cake, strawberry cake and even a Pineapple Upsidedown Cake! I suspect that these recipes could also be made using a regular yellow cake mix for those of us that don't need to follow a GF diet, but I really thought these recipes were worth mentioning, since so many of us have loved ones that need to follow this special diet. Wouldn't it be great to be able to whip up a wonderful dessert for our GF friends?
Lisa recently sent me a box of Betty Crocker Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix (along with a bunch of other Gluten Free goodies) to show me just how good Gluten Free eating can be! I haven't used it yet, but now that she has shared some ways that she uses it, I can't wait to try it! Hmmm? I wonder which recipe I'll try first!
