Keeping the Victims of Hurricane Sandy in Our Prayers

I was up for most of the night last night watching the news and checking facebook for Hurricane Sandy updates and then again for 3 hours when Grace woke in the wee hours of the morning.

With so many downed trees, power outages and damage to homes, we were really lucky.  Words cannot explain how thankful I am for that.

We do have family that have had extensive damage to their home and many of our family and friends are without power today.  Please keep them, along with so many others along the East Coast in your prayers.

Here's a photo that Joe just sent me from his cell phone while he's on his way to check on our nephews.  My anxiety level won't drop until he's home.

  1. Living in Houston we have dealt with storm damage in the past. It can take a while to recover from. Prayers going out to everyone suffering right now!

  3. I am on the east coast in NC and our power was out for several hours last night but it is on today. Thankfully, we did not get the worst of the storm here. I will definitely be keeping the people to my north in my thoughts and prayers today.
